Description:
An established coarse fishery with potential for futher development subject to obtaining the necessary consents. The two principal lakes each extend to approx 0.50 acres, with islands and lily beds. A further lake extending to approx 0.40 acres (gross) is currently not fished. In addition to the main lakes there are two small stock ponds. The site also benefits from a water abstraction licence.

In recent years, the lakes have been fished under licence by a local Angling Association on a ‘catch and release’ basis. We are informed that the two principal lakes are currently stocked with a variety of coarse fish including Carp, Tench, Rudd, Roach, Perch and Bream. The lakes were highly recommended by the Anglers Mail (May 2001).

The site itself is well established including a variety of mature trees and an area of Marsh Orchids designated as a Suffolk County Wildlife Site.

Access to the site is directly from Stoke Road.

The property is well located being close to the western outskirts of the market town of Clare and approx 8 miles from the town of Haverhill.
