Approximately 4 miles south east of Wick. Thrumster is a small village four miles south of Wick. Once it had a railway station which was part of the Wick - Lybster railway which can still be seen today although in a dilapidated condition. The old station is used to store farm machinery now. The village services include Post Office, Petrol station, Primary School, Nursery, Pub.
Directions
From Wick, travel south on A9 for approx. 4 miles. At Thrumster turn left for Sarclet. Pass by the School. Further along this road on your left you will find a track. The site is situated at the end of this track.
